A car crash early Thursday morning left three people hospitalized, at least two of those people with serious traumatic injuries. The crash occurred in Lakeside on Rancho Canada Road, just after 1:00 a.m. The driver of a white Chevy pickup truck failed to negotiate a curve and ran into some landscaping rocks in front of a residence, according to the Lakeside fire department. The two front passengers suffered severe traumatic injuries and were transported to local hospitals. The third passenger, who was in the back seat, reportedly fled the accident, but later was taken to a local hospital.
