Ramona boy hurt in freak auto accident

| Nov 21, 2013 | Firm News

A ten year old Ramona boy was hurt when he was pinned between two cars near the Ramona Pony baseball fields Friday afternoon. The North County Times states that the ten year old boy was loading his baseball equipment into the back of the family car when a car backed into him, pinning his right leg between the two bumpers. The boy was taken by air to Rady Children’s hospital. The extent of the injuries was not known.

The driver of the car who pinned the boy told officers that she was blinded by the sun and didn’t see the boy as she was backing out of her parking spot. We hope the injuries are not too serious and that this Pony Leaguer can get back out to the field quickly.
