Truck Crashes Into Mira Mesa House

| Nov 21, 2013 | Firm News

Recently retired UPS driver Rod Anderson told his former co-workers that he was looking forward to new adventures. Having a truck crash through into his home was probably not what he had in mind. At 1:45 A.M. on Wednesday morning, a truck crashed into Mr. Anderson’s Mira Mesa home, as reported by both the San Diego Union Tribune, and News 8 San Diego. The driver of the truck was suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Anderson reported that he was asleep when he heard a crash, and then voices, in his home. He called 911, and then ventured into his living room, where he found a truck that had smashed through the wall and was resting in his house. The passenger had already crawled out, and was assisting the driver out of the vehicle. No major injuries were reported.
