Truck Hits And Kills Man In Wheelchair

Roger Minx was crossing Valley Parkway Saturday evening in his wheelchair when he was struck and hit by a truck. Minx was in his motorized wheelchair when he was struck by a pickup truck driven by an unidentified driver. Mr. Minx suffered massive injuries, and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup was cooperating with police. Alcohol was reportedly not a factor in the fatal accident.
