Two Military Men Injured in Violent Crash

| Nov 21, 2013 | Firm News

A high speed crash involving two active members of the military has resulted in tragic injuries, as reported by News 8 San Diego. Photos of the crash, which can be viewed on the News 8 website, are chilling. The injured military men were reportedly drag racing on I-5 near the intersection with State Route 94. Their Ford Mustang was driving at a high rate of speed southbound on I-5 when it abruptly changed lanes at the transition to Route 94. The car slammed into a metal guard rail, and overturned. Both men were ejected from the car. One of the men, believed to be the driver, had both legs severed below the knees.

The crash absolutely demolished the car. The floor board is pushed up to the extent that it is outside of the wreckage of the vehicle.

The crash occurred on Sunday afternoon. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor.
