The driver of a van that rolled over in northern New York last week, leaving six dead and others injured, was driven by a man that has had his license suspended 25 times and was suspended at the time of the crash. Bernard Lattibeaudiere was driving with a revoked New York license that had been suspended at least 25 times. Police said the predominant cause of the crash was a blown tire, and not driver error. Nonetheless, Lattibeaudiere was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony in the state of New York. the crash occurred in Woodbury, about 55 miles north of New York city.
